Bruce McGraw

Bruce came to Orange First Church of the Nazarene 15 years ago from Dayton, Ohio. He has been a Worship Pastor for over 32 years and is passionate about his calling. He's attended Cincinnati Bible College, Malone College, Charleston University School of Music and Mount Vernon Nazarene University where his concentration was Christian Education and Vocal Music. Bruce was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene in 1992 as Deacon of Christian Education and again in 2003 as an Elder. Bruce enjoyed 32 wonderful years with Joyce, the love of his life. She went to Heaven on December 26, 2009 waiting on a lung transplant. Bruce enjoys spending time with his adult children, Paul and Beth.

Bruce enjoys Motorcycle Riding, reading, listening to music and just about anything outdoors. His favorite song is "Blessed Be Your Name" by Matt Redman. He has seen every episode of the Andy Griffith Show and thinks, the shows deputy sheriff "Barney," would make a good U.S. President. Bruce sets a goal to read 12 books a year. His favorite book is Attitudes by John Maxwell. His latest book he's read, "Radical" (David Platt) has already had an impact on his life.

One of Bruce’s favorite Scripture is found in Zephaniah 3:17, “For the Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will dance over you by singing a happy song."

He reminds people regularly that, "The only activity that we will do both on earth and in heaven is WORSHIP." Another one is, "No one cares about how much you know until they know how much you care." -John Maxwell
